Happy New Year everyone! HHARP would like to extend greetings going forward in 2016! This year has been very productive and revealing in the area of community and the need for continuous support! We want to offer some words of encouragement and direction when it comes to burial/funeral arrangements.
Here are some things to consider: -Do your research during this time of loss. -Read the contract thoroughly. -Have a trusted support person to accompany you. -Know your budget before you visit. -Don't make emotional decisions.
As we all know experiencing loss is uncomfortable and very burdensome when, those we love have no life insurance or some other life altering situation has occurred. #thesunwillshineagain
On tonight Helping Hands Asset Relief Program was one of the 7 recipients who received $10,000 to continue the work in the community. Our organization has been holding on to this news for a few weeks and it was so very hard to maintain the secrecy if you will of such a wonderful gesture. Many families will go through hardships of death and we just want to help where we can, and when we can. We also want to thank our sponsors and supporters for all everything they do. Our organization is standing in the gap to help those in need. We will walk with you every step of the way! Again, we thank #Local1288 for being such a jewel within the community as well as the Jonnie Dawson Charitable Foundation.

The panel included a team of professionals from the Mid-South community who shared valuable information, which gave the Shelby County and the city of Memphis community tools to make better plans in taking care of their business!
